We are approved under Federal Government guidelines to provide you with full access to all childcare fee subsidies currently available.
There are three main subsidies offered by the Australian Government for which you may be eligible.
These are the Child Care Benefit, the Child Care Rebate and Job Education and Training Child Care Fee Assistance. Please speak to Centrelink to find out if you are eligible.
Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a payment from the Australian Government to help reduce the cost of your total Child Care Fees. There are certain requirements you must meet to be eligible for this benefit. It is income tested and the amount of assistance will vary according to family income.
Child Care Rebate (CCR) is an additional payment to the CCB. The Rebate covers 50% of out-of-pocket costs up to an annual cap, the Rebate is not income tested as long as you meet the eligibility criteria. Please note the CCR is a different payment from CCB. To receive CCR you must first claim the CCB. If your CCB entitlement is zero due to income, you may still be eligible for CCR.
Jobs, Education and Training Child Care Fee Assistance (JETCCFA or JET) provides parents receiving an income support payment an opportunity to improve their skills and job prospects by providing additional child care assistance, over and above their Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate entitlements.
